you might mind the price..its gets expensive
Well we'll see, cake is included with my RH. The cake part tasted good too...
ETA: I think we have the same bakery? Audrey's bakery, is that yours?

yes it is and i hear such great things about it. fondant isnt included in the price. did they give you the price breakdown? its like 1.50 extra per slice

Yeah I still have to think about it cause not everyone might like that. I still have to think about what I want for my cake. If I have to pay a little bit extra then I'm fine with that. I just want a pink and brown cake somehow...

i have never had fondant so i dont know how it tastes...but i think it lookks so much nicer....fondant is included for our cake so i may go for it if it tastes goood!

they can probably still give you pink and brown without fondant...maybe tint the buttercream and then the designs can be the other color?

Yeah they probably could do it that way. To be honest with you the cake is the one thing I really haven't worried about. I forgot about it actually lol

most places when they cut the cake and serve it they peel off the fondant. typcially its buttercream frosting underneath the fondant.
fh got a rough price from audrey's and it wasnt too bad. We dont plan on using the swan club's cake.
not a lot of people lik ethe taste of it..ot can ruin the taste of the cake if you really arent a fan
I know but if you don't like it it's very easy to peel off when you have it on your plate! Waste of money!!!
alot of stuff in the wedding business is a waste of money...but we do it anyway

sometimes when you cut the cake and it is fondant, the fondant becomes messed up and ends up looking horrible, so that's why they peel it off sometimes.
any bakery should be able to make you a pink and brown cake without fondant if you want.....i make cakes on the side and its just a matter of finding the right mixture of coloring for the buttercream. if you go with fondant, try marshmollow fondant, its the best!

i am going to go with buttercream probably... i know a lot of people that do not like the taste of fondant (FH's mother for one!)
