I had the ABSOLUTE worst experience with....

Commack Wedding Center bridesmaid department!

I went there yesterday to be fitted for a bm dress for my friends wedding. The sample they had was a size 6.( which in real life is like a 2 or 4) So Im like a real life size 8 so I knew it wouldnt fit but i wanted to at least try so i could get an idea. So Im actually able to get the dress on which surprised me...didnt zip all the way but at least i got it on.....
So i poke my head out the dressing room door and i say to my mom and sister ' for a size 6, it really didnt fit as bad as i thougt...'

The lady that works there, IN FRONT OF EVERYONE says

' Are you kidding me???? That dress was wayyyyyy to small on you. Its even stretched out and it was too small!!!'

I was like ***?!?! Who was even talking to you??? She embarassed me in front of a whole store of people and never appologized....

I would not recommend CWC BM dept to my worst enemy Ill tell you all that right now.

On a happier note though, the MOB dept were the sweetest ladies ever in fact my mom FINALLY bought her dress yesterday from there

Praise the lord...she was being sooooo picky...

Anyway...sorry so long but I wanted to vent and warn anyone thinking about using them.

yeah, I have not had the best experiences there... Tell your mom NOT to get the dress altered there, they do a terrible job on alterations.

I had a BM dress problem there too.....
my PG BM went there anf the lady with the RED hair yelled at her that she can't order the dress i picked out... so know she is not in the BP because she doesn't want to stand out....

Ugh one of my BM had a similar experience when she was trying on dresses. When the seamstress was measuring her, she says 'What size do you wear in jeans?!' So my friend says '14' and the seamstress goes, 'Noooo!!! You're at LEAST an 18!!'

It's just... You deal with women day in and day out. Even if it is their job to tell the truth so people aren't deluded into thinking they fit into something when they don't, there are nice ways of putting it without leaving people on the verge of tears!

That is horrible. Is your friend still getting the BP dresses from them? I wouldnt give them the business. I was also in a BP years ago and we went there and I didnt like the people there at all.
There are so many places with NICE people out there that you can go to. Dont let it bother you.

I'm sorry this happened to you! I would have given her a piece of my mind!!!!
