I HAD TO PUT MY LITTLE BOY TO SLEEP

SATURDAY I HAD TO PUT ROCKY TO SLEEP BECAUSE OF A TUMOR.

THE RAINBOW BRIDGE
There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors.
Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass. When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place.
There is always food and water and warm spring weather. The old and frail animals are young again. Those who are maimed are made whole again. They play all day with each other.
There is only one thing missing. They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth.
So, each day they run and play until the day comes when, one suddenly stops playing and looks up! The nose twitches! The ears are up! The eyes are staring! And this one suddenly runs from the group!
You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet, you take him or her in your arms and embrace,
Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated...

This is sooo beautiful. I had to put my dog to sleep in December. This brought a tear to my eye.

I also put my boy down in December, it is definetely one of the most difficult things to do in life. I send many thoughts and 's you way.

Thank you all it has been hard. I got the call that the ashes are in. I keep puting it off it seems so hard. That means its final.

I know he up there with God trying to con him out of candy and treats. he was the one dog that did not get sick.

It is the worst feeling to lose a pet, my Shakespeare died in my arms from a seizure, and I have never truly gotten over it. I still miss him so much. The house seemed to be so empty without him. It will take time to be 'okay' again and there are still times that I get choked up (it's been more than 5 years), but I try to remember how much fun he was and how he was truly an amazing family member to all of us.

You will always miss him, and his life with you was amazing I'm sure, just know that it is only fair to him if there was nothing left to be done, even though it is hard to let him go.......Seeing him suffer while alive would have been more painful in the end.......he's better now, and I hope you will be better soon too.
