I feel like I have no right to hate him playing video games when I spend just as many hours per week (or more, actually) on LIW!

i used to hate them before i made sure i had something else to occupy my time.
for the few hours a week he plays video games, I make sure my laptop is with me.
so his video game obsession is now equal to my LIW obsession.

We are both addicted to the Wii - we once stayed up the whole night bowling - i had no idea what time it was until it started getting light out oops!
i also love watching him play other games. . .its like watching a movie - unless he gets stuck on something.
