I HATE....

THE WEDDING CENTER!!!

My sister and I went back there even though the first time we went to browse BM dresses was a horrible experience! The people who worked there were talking about us while we were in the dressing room, forgetting how loud their voices can shreek!

So we said lets give it another try today to browse Headpieces and veils..

After we signed in, we waited for 45 minutes til we inquired when we would be helped (there were NOT that many people there) and the woman said at least another hour. I smiled said OK THANK YOU and walked out. You would think they would let you know.it will be a 2 HOUR WAIT when you walk in....???

While we were there my sister asked how come the BM dresses are so much cheaper there than all the other places.....my responce: THEY NEED TO MAKE UP FOR THE TERRIBLE SERVICE!

I KNOW!!! we were there 1 time and they were trashing other customers while we were standing right there. Go check out wedding world....its a few minutes away They are awesome!

yeah if you pass wedding center....and make a right onto motor....you take that down to austin blvd and make a left its in the hauppauge industrial area....they are so nice!!! totally different from wedding center. If you have any questions feel free to ask me! I been dealing with them for over a year now and i just adore them!

I went there one time and they were actually very nice to me. However, I was lied to. I was told that they were an official vendor for my RH -- this was an outright lie. I was also told that the owner's daughter was the new face in all the photography for my hall -- another lie. The manager at my hall was very suprised that I had been told thisand set the record straight.
If I had not been lied to I would have probably returned especially because i saw a veil there that I liked very much.

They are the WORST!!! They made such a disaster out of my BM experience for my FSIL's wedding. I ordered my dress in black with an ivory sash (the ivory to match the brides gown). They sent it to me the total opposite. IVORY with a black sash. The woman brought it out and was like 'Oh wow.......it came out BEAUTIFUL' I was like 'Why on earth would i be wearing the same color as the BRIDE?!?!?!'.
And don't even get me started on the alteration process................somehow they made my dress LONGER when the hem was supposed to be taken UP!!!!
IMO, they are SOOOO unprofessional.

and i heard the owner is very pushy there too i never met him cause i walked out so fast lol but i have friends who have gone there and wanted to strangle the guy!

ugggggh I'm so relieved its not just me! They honestly put me in such a bad mood that my FH had to take me out to dinner to cheer me up ( guess I cant really complain too much about that)

My mom had a problem with them back in 99 when my brother was getting married they told my mom that the dress she wanted to try on was too expensive for her and things like that so i knew not to go there

It seems consistent..that place is awful...i went there a few weeks back with my mother to look for MOB dress...we had to sign in and there was no one there...then the owner before he even listened or asked about what we needed...starts in about how they are the best...best prices...most knowledgeable...the women ignore you...and when they finally take the time to help, they are NASTY! That was the last time for me...I live in Commack, so it is convienient and I have tried to go there on several occasions! NEVER AGAIN! Sorry you had a crappy experience there too!

I have heard soooo many negative things about that place. I once saw a bridal fashion show that he hosted and he was such an idiot. My mom and I were laughing at him the entire time.

The one good thing about them is if you tell them what dress you are looking for (even a magazine and page number) they will quote you a price over the phone. You can then go somewhere else and try to get them to match the price.
