I hate having a small budget..I think we've already gone over big time. Now I need to find photographer (mine canceled) and I have 2 that really want to do it... one is really good, friendly, brings a second photographer, and the other is AWESOME but would be alone and about $700 more

See if you can negotiate.
I had the same exact problem. I was between two photographers with the same issue. I told each exactly what I was looking for and how much I wanted to pay. The one alone came down a little but was almost the same price as the one with two photog. The other one came down in price to exactly meet my needs. The good thing is they are one of the house photog so I save more money on that as well!!

The problem is that the more expensive photographer is offering me an amazing deal and has already come down a bit from the originial offer...but its still out of our budget...and considering we'd get 2 photographers for quite a bit less it just seems stupid not to go that way.

i've been reading how 2 photographers are best. is there a huge difference in their samples?

Its not a HUGE difference really... just that the more expensive photographer takes REALLY unique shots and uses cool angles and stuff, and the cheaper photographer does aswell, but not to the same extent. But the difference is deffinitely not worth $700... and witht he 2 photographers we'll get over 1200 images so surely there will be some really great ones.

i agree, that's a big difference....you should also bring a few 'different' shots that you like to show them what you want.

yea, the photographer we're probably going with (the cheaper one) is totally open to me giving her pics of what I like and what I want n stuff... and she just seems really easy to work with.
