I hate doctors!!!!!!!!!!!

I called today to find out what the results of my tests were since I am done with my second prescription and my back is still hurting.
The receptionist made up every excuse possible to get me off the phone.First she said she called me.
I said 'no,you didn't.' Then she said that they don't get the results that fast unless something is wrong so I'm probably ok. They were supposed to have the results on Wednesday.Its now Friday!

Anyway I'd demand they answer you!!! How long can you be uncomfortable?!

This one office is doing the same thing to frank. He is waiting on an authorization to embril ( a new drug on the market for his arthiritis) and this was two weeks ago, well monday i took him there and they needed him to sign papers and said oh should take 2 days.. WELL ITS FRIDAY AND NOTHING!! i left them a message last night that i want to know what is going on immediatly, if they do NOT call me today i think i will FLIP OUT!!!

OMG thats so funny.We were thinking the same thing at the same time.
I am so annoyed with those people.
Maybe they don't care about their patients. They only care about their paychecks!I hope they get treated just as poorly when they don't feel well.

I'm going to call the place that took the tests and tell that that my dr won't give me my results.
I will tell them that they are claiming they never received anything from them.
Then I will call the dr's office again.
I just can't believe this is the way they treat people.

I would demand to speak to the doctor - you are in PAIN and HAVE THE RIGHT TO KNOW THE REASON!!!!

I feel your pain

I was trying to get a precription renewed last week and the Dr's office told me to have the pharmacy call them. Fine. The pharmacy called them and left a message so the office has to call anyway. They played telephone tag for TWO days.

I finally get someone on the phone at the dr's office that said the pharmacy never called - not true since I was standing there for one of the calls. Then they admitted to speaking with the pharmacy and said the pharmacy didnt know what the dosage was (name change confusion) and THE DOCTORS OFFICE DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO TELL THEM!!!!

I blasted her when she said that! How can you not look it up? How can you all be having these problems with a maintenance precription and never even to think to call the patient since you can't get off your @ss to look through a whole file?

It's ridiculous! It would have been easier and less aggravating to just make the appt.

I called the place and asked them if they could tell me what my results were.She said she can't and that the dr has to call me.I said 'can you at least tell me when they were sent because they aren't telling me anything?' She said that it gets mailed out so they should have it by today or Saturday.

I got a good one. I got turned away by 2 doctors.

Last year I had a car accident. i was told by the ER doc to call my regular doc and go in for a check up.

At the time I had a new doctor but I hadnt seen him yet. So I called so I could go in. The receptionist told me no he couldnt see me and that he doesnt see car accident patients. She then continued to yell at me that this isnt a free clinic and I just cant call and come in and that I need to be a regular patient. Now that she knows I was in a car accident patient he will refuse to see me and I need to go see another doctor.



I called my old doctor who I had seen for 10 years but hadnt seen in a while because I have no reason to see a doctor because I dont get sick and I go in for my yearly check ups. So it was at least a year that I had seen him. HE TURNED ME AWAY!!!

He told me that he couldnt see me because I hadnt been in for a long time and that I just cant walk in when I want because I suddenly got into a car accident.

I reported both doctors to the medical board and you'll NEVER believe what I was told. I was told because its their private practice they can choose who they want to see and they did nothing wrong. If i was so injured I could have gone to a walk in clinic.

After 2 hours of crying, Brians cousin spoke to her doctor and told him the situation and he had a HEART and told me to come in no questions asked. He looked at me and he is now my regular doctor

I don't blame you for ever going back there and I'm glad you reported them!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you ever see the movie Patch Adams with Robin Williams. I wish all doctors were like that, having a heart and caring about people.

It seems doctors only went to medical school (no offense to those DR's on here) to learn medicine and make $$. THey dont care about the sick, they care about the $$$.

This is why I take care of myself, I hate doctors
