Aww Suz, I'm so sorry that you're having these troubles with him!! Can you cancel the band and get a DJ instead? As for the guest list, as I always say you're the one who sends the invites out so if he can't cut his list then you'll just have to do it for him. We're here for you, hope things get better!!!

Give him a guest number. If he wants more than that, tell him the per-plate cost of his guests and then get a check before you send the invites. I think thats fair. We gave the same option to my FH's parents.

Awww...Im sorry you are having trouble with you FFIL. My FFIL is also making some small demands on things that he would like at the wedding and MY parents are paying. You'll get by. I think that the suggestion made earlier about giving them a # of people and any more they would have to pay for is fair. Dont forget to get the check BEFORE you mail the invites
