I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE dealing with cable companies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I called to shut off my cable in my MA apartment yesterday, and they told me, 'Your cable has already been shut off for non-payment.' And I was like, 'Um, WHAT?! That can't be. A) I still HAVE cable, and B) you have been taking money out of my account automatically for the last 2 years!' So whatever, I get that cleared up and it turned out my money was paying SOMEONE ELSE'S account!!!! So I just looked at my bill online to pay the final amount so I could just be rid of it and forget it, and THEY CHARGED ME 136 BUCKS FOR BACK PAYMENT! HELLO! I PAID YOU! Argh, so I call them again and explain the situation to the guy and all he said to me was, 'Yes ma'am, your cable has been shut off.' WHAT?!?!?! I asked him where the charge came from and all he told me was my cable was shut off, hello, I know this, that was yesterday's dilemma, so then after about 15 minutes of dealing with this moron, he finally says to me, 'Oh, wait, you wanted to know your remaining balance, right?' ARGH!!!!!!! And then he says, 'Oh, no that 136 dollars isn't for you to pay, I'll just take it off.' What the hell? ARGH! Ok, just needed to vent about that.

I understand completely!! We needed a box replaced and had to argue with service about whether or not the service tech would come prepared to do this. After waiting two weeks for a reasonably convenient appointment we get the box replaced.

Two days later they call to say they need to swap out all the boxes because they upgraded service in the area and without the new boxes our cable will not work at all!!

STUPID CABLE PEOPLE!
You know what it is, too, is that we are FINALLY moving back from MA officially, and I don't even want to think about that place anymore, at least not for now, and the headache from the stupid cable company is the last thing I need from the damn state! But yes, I will breathe...hee,hee, whoo...

I was like that when I moved back from Philly to NY. I wanted to be home so badly I just up and left during a blizzard!! The moving company couldn't even guarantee getting to NY that day and I said ok, see ya when you get there

That's how the two of us feel. We've just had it. I mean, I've been home since July, but he's been there this whole time by himself, so it's like, ENOUGH! I'm so desperate to get him home that I am dragging three of my LITTLE cousins up there to help us move because no one else could make it this weekend I'm gonna get charged with child labor

Now im really happy I didnt get the job at Cable Vision in their customer service department...That could of been me that Rachael was yelling at..

I know that they have to listen to everyones crap but the lack of empathy and effort sometimes is madening!

Scott, I was SOOOOOOOOO patient before I started yelling. I SWEAR No, but honestly, to be fair to the cable companies of Massachusetts, they've always been very accomodating. But still, it's so annoying! I always try to be nice because I know they must deal with some nasty characters, but this was just the wrong thing to happen at the wrong time, and he was so incompetent and not even listening to me. ARGH!

I get nuts when they say 'Sorry, but there's nothing I can do' I am usually furious and yell 'Well who can????'
