i hate my BM

so we went to meet w/our rh bm

we picked linens, talked abt seating arrangments and our cocktail hour stations

i didnt know we were going to discuss or menu1?!?!?!??!!?

he pretty much asked me what i wanted

chicken
fish
filet

he didnt give me any choice though!?!??! he was very arrogant and made me feel like i was supposed to know what to order

ummmm wasnt he supposed to give me a list of food choices for me to make a selection? isnt that it how it works????

YES! Call back today and ask to speak to a manager if you don't think he's doing it right. Maybe it was miscommunication and someone was supposed to give you the menu or he thought he did or they mailed it but you never got it. Either way, call back and tell them you want to make sure it's all right and you need to make sure the food is what you want since you never knew your choices.

Remember, you pay them for their services. If you aren't happy, then yell, scream do what you have to to make sure it's the way you and FH want it.

YES. They shouldve gave you a whole list of options! At least thats how it was for every place we looked at.

I think I need to start coming with you to do these things - I also need to start responding to your emails from any a$$holes looking to start drama a month before your wedding.

Call them back - you are the boss here - they are working for you. Dont be intimidated. You dont have to be rude - just say 'I was under the impression that there would be choices for our dinner menu' and find out what the deal is. Maybe at that place it doesnt work like that which is fine. Whats not fine is him making you feel the way you did. What did David say?

Yeah...usually!! Unless that is the standard options at your RH, but I had to pick 5 out of options for my wedding.
