I hate my F****** neighbors

we live next door to a bunch of young boys ages 20-24. when their mom is not home they have loud parties, which is everyday!!!

right now they are partying it up and i cant get to sleep and i have to get up early to be in the city tomorrow. i am so P****ED!!

my fh is calling the police right now to make a complaint. we have asked these boys several times to keep the volume down.

i cant stand it anymore. i want to look for a new appt bc of this. i am a light sleeper and now i will not be able to fall asleep for a while i am so angry!

The night before my wedding I GOT NOO SLEEP.
I was screaming at the idiots (adults not teenagers! ) and my parents are the landlords! cops mean nothing to them, they laugh it off..

God how I love Long Island more and more

Sorry to hear your story, but I have NO help in solving it. thats why we all moved from the block we lived on. As long as theyre not true troublemakers (violent), you should be ok. But maybe you can try talking to their parents ?

so my fh called the police last nite and we could hear the kids yelling about it. now my fh is worried they will do something bad to our cars!! these kids are punks. i dont care that it was a friday night at 100am. i have to work today and i worked all week. all i want is some peace and quiet!!!!!!

Ugh!! I feel your pain. Where I live, in the summer, there are literally 40 kids in the street at night, boxing in the middle of the street, holding up traffic and moving when they felt like it was their thing last summer. So then people in cars were blowing their horns. I called the police a bunch of times, but it could have been anyone on the block who called. How would they know it was you if you called?

I said to my DH last year, that I couldn't live there another year, thank God we are moving to Massapequa Park in about 2 months where they have noise ordinances.

I'm sorry.....I hope you get some relief.
