ok so we was supposed to go cake testing last weekend but i was in the er the day before because my stomache was all messed up, so his mother said ok we will go next weekend so you can rest. totally understandable. so today we was planning on going, i got ready and my FH called her to see what time she wanted to go. well, no answer! and her cell was off and no answer on the house. so FH left a message on her machine, so were at home waiting all this time and she decides to call at 5pm! let me remind you we called at and left a message at 11am! omg, im like getting frustrating because she is the type to mess things up. and she does things when its more convienient for her...she dont care about our schedule! ugh..sorry i needed to vent!

ugh - FMILs are their own special breed!! if it were me, i might not be able to restrain myself from smooshing cake in her face when you finally go tasting!

Nope I completely understand. I am fortunate to get along with mine for the most part. But therer are times when I need to leave her house because a situation arises that really wants to make me explode and go balistic on her.

i would of went without her but she decided she would pay for the wedding cake, so its like i have no say but it pissed me off ya know!
