I hate my invisalign...

I hate my invisalign...

UGH... I just had to complain... my teeth are KILLING me.

I was so close to having my top teeth be all done and we had a major set back... I went from being on tray 8 back down to tray 3..... FRICK FRICK FRICK.

i had braces for like 5 years but neglected to wear my retainers and they shifted just a tiiiiiiiny bit....always considered invisalign but figured they are expensive!

They definitely work. Even at this point I have seen a major improvement... my bottom teeth are moving along just fine but something happened with the tops and they had to re-do the molds... I think I effed it up myself when I was in Cali and didn't wear them as much as I shold have... but I won't admit that to the dentist...

They were kinda expensive but I paid for it with my FSA account so the money is just coming out of my check pre-tax so I don't even notice it. Mine were about $4500... but if you only need a little tweaking they might be a lot less. I never had braces when I was younger... my teeth only started to crowd when my wisdom teeth grew in...

My dental insurance didn't cover anything... but it depends on your plan... I think mine considered the invisalign 'cosmetic'

ive had some work on my teeth since braces and now my stupid retainers dont fit and theyre starting to shift, i want to get invisalign but 4500 is pretty steep.... how long do you have to 'Wear' (or whatever they do lol) them for?

I have invisalign! I got them because I want straight teeth in my wedding pics :) I have to wear mine for 10 months, I have 3 more months to go! So far so good. i have to say though, I;m ready to be done. My insurance covered about 1/2.

FH has invisalign. he also had braces as a kid. it is very expensive. i know that he has a balance of $2,150 after going to the dentist yesterday, i can't remember the total cost. they really do work. i already see a difference with his top teeth. his bottom ones had to be filed down yesterday to ensure that there would be enough room.

he does find it a hassle to have to take them out every time he wants to snack. he said the worst was driving to & back home from Canada this weekend. usually in the car i help him out but he didn't want his friends touching them.

4500 is nothing, my cousin was told she would have to pay 6000 for her invisalign.

I just got a retainer thing for my bottom teeth at the end of June. I didn't get it to straighten anything but to make more room for a implant that I gotta get. It cost about.... $2500.

I go back to the dentist every 2 weeks and he has a little key to tighten it. I'm in and out in like 5 minutes which is nice.

My top teeth were SUPPOSED to be done at the end of August... now they won't be until December. My bottom teeth are going along as planned and will (should) be all done in April.

So... the top teeth should have been 5 months... now 9 and the bottom teeth will take a year.

I would still try and get a quote from your dentist... if you only need a little bit of work done it may not be as much.

I have them too for the bottom and I was supposed to be done in January, but am just finishing up the last one now. It is definitely worth it - there is a huge difference.

As for cost, mine were $2, 050 because I did the express version and paid cash, so there are definitely ways to make it more affordable!

Wow, you guys paid alot less than I did! I paid 6 for mine!! Insurance covered nothing! I finished the 9 months that were originally planned. They give you up to 3 revisions and they've talked on an extra 3.5 months. I see a HUGE difference and love the results. They never really hurt until recently when they changed my buttons. The first tray was really tight, but now its not so bad.

i had it too.....mine were 6k

i am actually getting my retainers made and am picking them up in 2 weeks....

i had a few revisions but by december my teeth were pretty much perfect for the wedding - if you look at my wedding pictures my teeth look so straight love that!

worth every penny to me!
