I think we all know of the saying 'we all have to start somewhere' (something like that)...but it still suxs. Today I met up with the principal of the 2nd school that I will be working at. Although I think she really liked me she gave me the impression that she wasnt to happy that I didnt have any experience which I can totally understand. I guess Im just venting. I just wish I can fast forward life a bit and skip through all this nonsense....

i know.. i feel this way too... Ive been at my job for a year and have been doing graphic design for several years now... And i feel like if i were to find a new job I would know NOTHING... Its the WORST feeling but EVERYBODY has to start somewhere! They hired you KNOWING that you dont have experience... You will be AWESOME when you start.. dont sweat it!

You will get your break and then get experience! Tell them you are a quick learner..and look forward to gaining knowledge. Even those of us with it, don't always qualify! I have over 10 years of experience in Graphic Design..but my field has changed so much in the last few years I don't qualify for half the new jobs...because now they all involve web & animation..we didn't have e-mail when i was in college!

Cheer up. They hired you because they think you are qualified and will able to learn fast, so you'll be a pro at it in no time. My FH is going through the same thing though now that he's looking for a job...
