I HATE PACKING!!! BUT I love the idea that I'll be gone for 2 weeks!!!

Hawaii here we come!!!!! Leaving Monday am... buttcrack early in the morning....

But I have to tell you, I totally hate packing... I thinks its hard b/c I don't know what mood I'll be in for that particular day and not to mention when you travel in the US they charge $25 per each checked bag, basically meaning DH won't let me bring more than 1 suitcase...one for me one for him... so I need to make 2 weeks worth of clothing and shoes fit....

Btw, I love being married. Its weird. And I LOVER it!!!!!!!

put ur shoes around the edges of the suitcase... heels facing twds the middle.

i also have to pack 18 days worth of clothes into 1 suitcase... i plan on arranging outfits ahead of time. seeing which shoes i will be wearing the most.

ugh what a challlengeeeeeeeeeee

Hints for packing: After you fold the clothes, roll them up (like a joint, LOL) or get those plastic bags that you can s uck the air out of to kind of vacuum seal them. You can fit a lot in them! (And you can get ones where you just kind of squash the air out of them, no vacuum necessary! They have them at BBB!)

That's what I do when I travel!

And pack the largest possibly carry-on with shyt!

There is no way. I would pay myself to bring the extra baggage. Thank god we are cruising out of NJ coz it means I can bring as much sh!t as I want. FH is gonna fall over when he sees how much I pack!

I had no problem packing for Hawaii. I did have an issue with unpacking once we got home. I totally did not want to be back.
Ugh, DH had me moving stuff between the two suitcases at the weigh in arease when the bags where over weight. He refused to pay extra.

i hate packing too!!! I always overpack but I hate not having options while I am away...how am I supposed to know what I will want to wear each day

we flew jet blue and your first bag is FREE and if you have a second bag its $30. There was no way I could cram everything into 1 suitcase for 2 weeks so I brought a second suitcase and paid the $

The worse part is we have a layover in california, so DH is pertified that we are going to lose our luggage..... ughhhhhhhhhhhh btw, I finished my stuff, its laid out in the guest room, now its DH's turn and I'm dreading it!

Have a great time! When I go on a long vacation, I usually try to do laundry at some point. Your hotel will most likely have a laundry service. If they do, you can wear, wash and wear again. I usually do that for day time clothes like shorts and tanks. That can cut you packing in half. Bring different clothes for going out at night bc you probably don't want pics wearing the same clothes. As for shoes, flip flops for the day, sneakers if you take a hiking tour and one pair of black dressy sandals and one pair of white/beige dressy sandals.

I have a really cute beach bag that I usually put my shoes in. I can squeeze in at least 5 pair, including sneakers and it fits in the overhead fine. Then, I'll pack my small purses in the suitcase to be checked, and carry on my bigger purse with all my junk that didn't fit in the suitcase! Each passenger gets a space in the overhead so DH would have to sacrifice his for my other bag

Anywho, have a good HM!!!!
