I hate spray paint and hot glue guns . . .(vent)

I just started making my ribbon wands and am so aggravated. I went through a can of paint for like 15 wands I had to paint one dowel at a time because when I had them laying down, the paint would stick to the drop cloth and get stuck, leaving blotchy spots. I felt high from the fumes, even though I did it outside/in my garage with the door open. Then when I was gluing the roses to the tips, the hot glue makes those threads that get everywhere . . . It's times like this that I feel crazy for wanting to make things for the wedding . . .

You'll be pleased with the outcome -- you'll see!

Try using a big piece of smooth cardboard instead for the spray painting... you can do a bunch at a time (I did all 100 at the same time) and no sticking! And only two cans of spray paint!
