I was stuck in traffic this morning for 1:45 minutes to go 12 miles!!!
And tonight, it took me over an hour to get home!!! This is a ride that can take me 12-15 minutes normally!!!!
I have wasted more time in traffic in the past year...I could have gotten my degree in less time!!!!
Just had to vent...gotta hate the NY METRO traffic.

I feel your pain. FH lives in Brooklyn. So, we are on the Belt every day back and forth from Brooklyn to Queens. It toally sucks!!

Oh...you don't have to tell me about the Belt Parkway...we live in Brooklyn and we dread having to go anywhere...but always do, because NONE of our friends and/or family live here!!!
It's a horrible experience, no matter what time of day...

UGH--That parkway should be condemned FH lives in Brooklyn but works in Levittown--commute sucks--thank GOD my parents welcome him to stay @ our house--in my dad's office on the futon! LOL He used to go back and forth soooo much and it's murder. An accident on the other side can cause you an hour or two delay just because people are rubber necking ROAR! GRRRRRR I feel your pain!

I live in Staten Island, work in Brooklyn. Poor FH, moved here with me from Valley Stream...his business & warehouse is in Elmont. So now every morning and night he has to make that terrible trip!!!

FH lives in Staten Island.... I'm in Farmingdale. It's a royal pain in the you know what.....literally. To make matters worse, I drive stick.

I live in East Meadow and travel to Brooklyn for work (40 miles each way ) and I have to leave at 4:45 pm to get there by 7 pm The traffic was so bad the other day, I didnt get there until like 7:15 I was so pissed off!
I cannot use this icon enough when thinking about the Belt Pkwy!!

I feel your pain!!! I live in SI, FH lives in Wantagh! Every weekend, at least one of us is making the trip over the 'belt parking lot'. It stinks! Without traffic, it takes me an hour to get from his house to mine, but it has taken me up to THREE hours!!!! ARGH!!!!
