i HATE the Belt Parkway !!!!!

just once would i like to go on the pkwy with no traffic

That would be a Christmas Miracle! That was one of the main reason we moved out of Howard Beach

me too I hate the belt parkway! you have people on there who drive like they are in a rush to nowhere and they cut in front of you with out signaling, or they tailgate you because they want you to drive faster.

I hear ya, I hate it too. They slow down for no reason and it is always congested.

I couldn't agree more!!! Some of those people drive like maniacs!!! There's always accidents being reported on 1010 WINS.

I lived in Howard Beach for about 2 years (in Lindenwood), but fortunately, I didn't drive on it to get to work.

Now that I live in LI, I used to take it to the Southern State, but I found a shortcut by going north on Peninsula Blvd.

Just the Belt? I've had trouble on all the roads. My least favorite is the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway.
I'm just waiting for my car to get stuck in one of those potholes,

I used to commute from East Meadow to Sunset Park, so I had to endure the ENTIRE parkway, at evening rush hour no less!! It used to take me 2 1/2 hours to get to work!

I am enjoying the ride on the D train much better now!
