I hate the secretary at my job!!!!!!!

She is supposed to work 4 days a week for 5 hours each day!!

We ahve payroll returns to get out, and my boss wants them done by today.

We had a problem with the computer system, so we needed to reinput some work, so the secretary was asked to do it, sionce she does nothing!!

She did not work monday since her kids had off, but told me last firday, I will be out monday, but I will work Friday, to get my 4 days in.

Well now that work has to be done, she is not coming in. I am so sick of her garbage. And this is not the onyl thing, I could go on for weeks!!!

Wow...that sucks!! is there anyone else to hlep??

She gets snotty when i get personal phone calls, if my boss has no problem with it, where does she get off being nasty about it.

there are only 3 of you there and she has the nerve not to show up?? thats bad!!

Nope, he is annoyed to, becasuse as she was leaving yesterday he heard her say to the lawyer we share office space with, se you monday, when as far as we both knew she was coming in.

He thought she was coming in untile he heard that.

He is annoyed that everything we gave her to do in the last few days, she has done carelessly and we have had to redo.

He is really annoyed too.

Also there is no reason to give me an attitude because my husband calls, her job is to answer the phone, and if my boss os okay with my personal call volume, then it is none of her business.

I don't understand how you can't manage to work 20 hours a week.

A secretary at my old job used to make the comments and remarks about personal phone calls and number of trips to the bathroom She was an idiot though.

I am building a house, and on some days get I get a bunch of calls, but if she is to answer the phone why does it matter who is calling me, that is your job.

She also expects me to come to her when she has a quesiton, and if I tell ehr to look in the prior year workpapers to use as a guide to enter the current info, she has not once gotten up and gotten the binder. She is so lazy, and gets annoyed if I don't walk her thru everything.

She has worked here for over a year, get with the program already!!!!

My boss aksed her to set up an audit binder for 2004, so she asked me what tabs, I said look in the 2003 one, because I don't know what is needed, there are like 20 tabs. So i happen to look in that binder, she didn't do it, she took a binder and put a label on it, that's it!!!!

Why does she still work there??

You are not talking about brain surgery here - she should be competent enough to get up and see for herself.

Well she finally came in after running her errands!! and has a face on, and when my mom called, she was snippy in giving me the call, oh well!!!

You could really piss her off and ask her to get your mother or DH on the phone for you
