I HATE this carseat!!!!!!!!

I HATE this carseat!!!!!!!!

My four month old is too long for the regular carseat carrier, so I decided to put him in the convertible car seat... Let me tell you, We are driving and my little bugger was able to undo the grey clip in between his chest..... Does anyone have any suggestions of a better seat?

I have only heard great things about the Britax car seats.

I cannot tell what kind of clip it is from the picture. You may be able to save yourself lots of money by just buying a new clip. They sell them at BRU. We changed the one on her infant carrier.

I cant imagine a 4m old undoing the clip, is it defective that it just slipped undone? yikes. good thing you noticed.
you should absolutely call Graco and complain and get your money back!

We have a Britax in one car -- and the graco one you mentioned in the other. The Britax is our ' everyday' seat -- and we love it ! We dont use the Graco that much -- but my son likes it and so do we .. he trys to get out of his carseats all of the time -- and he cant undo the latches ..Perhaps you do have a defectve one? I would call them ASAP !

How upsetting! I'm sorry to hear you're having headaches from the carseat.

I agree with Elle about calling them. Graco is usually pretty good with customer service. They may authorize the store to trade it for another one if it is defective, so there is no wait time. I know they do that with strollers, so more importantly, I'd think they'd have a similar policy for car seats.

How long do you have it? If it's not defective you can still maybe get resolution from the store to trade it for another type. Do you still have the box, receipt etc.? I have found baby product stores' customer service to be excellent - in all the places I have shopped.

I have a Britax Marathon and I love it.

Had a wonderful experience at BRU in commack!!! They took it back even though the tags were not still attached and i upgraded! I feel a lot better now, and now I have the same clip his infant carrier had! I feel confident in it.. its an Evenflo. Cant wait to try it out tomorrow!
