OK i need some clarification as I still feel new to this whole board thing....
When someone hijacks a board does that mean they respond to every single post? I know I do that sometimes -so does that mean I am breaking a rule and being looked upon as a hijacker? Because that would truly S UCK!
I wish there was a page of chat etiquette that we could all read so we would know what was acceptable and unacceptable. I know that the first time I posted I got ridiculed and made fun of for weeks. It was terrible - I had no idea that I had made such a huge mistake in my post.
Please spell it out for me. I can be so slow when it comes to stuff like this and I hate pissing people off!

no - when they hijack a board, EVERY post is from them, so when you click on a forum, you see their screen name on the entire page...

I think that I hijack NWR. I can't help it and if it pissses people off, oh well. I think that on the bridal boards it gets ridiculous like one person posting every thread. It's called 'search' and google. It works.
The NWR rules are there are no rules. Though I prefer it if posts/threads are funny/mean/scandalous/otherwise worth reading.

I think that the OP is talking more about board whoring. See also board flooding.
Hijacking usually refers to people who take a thread and turn it in to something totally different then what the OP intended.
