I hate work!

I hate work!

Yesterday my boss pulled me aside and said that people have commented to her that they see me online all the time! I know I’m on here a lot, but not that often, and even she admitted that all of my work gets done…

Today I made a point of staying off the internet (especially LIW )….but I just had to come on quickly and say this…

Anyone else ever get “a talking to” about being on here too much?

I know work is work and that they have the right to talk to us....

HOWEVER if my work was suffering, I'd understand... but it doesn't. I work thru lunch sometimes to make up for my LIW addiction, to make sure my work it done before day's end

SO THERE

PS: I hate my job , so I'm not sure I care ... though I need to stick it out 'till the wedding at least!

The thing that really kills me about it is that I work in an office full of slackers! I am certainly not the only person who gets caught being online...there are people at my job who call out sick every week and will go out to lunch and not come back for the rest of the day, and who do this on a regular basis and have not gotten fired! I really feel sometimes that I'm made an example of and it drives me nuts! Sorry to be venting so much, but now that I'm home and I don't have to be afraid that people are looking over my shoulder, I can't stop!

My desk is very out in the open and I can not get on the internet for personal reasons.

What makes me nuts is that people who have desks that are hidden from plain view go on the internet all day and then stay late to make up for the work they should have been doing during the day and getting paid overtime for it.
