I hate X-BOX!!!

We used to have the same problem with an online game FH used to play. Once I came over his apt during the week because he had been sick and he ignored me the entire time. And it takes me 45 mins to get to his place because I was living way out east. He's lucky he didn't get dumped that night. So I hear ya honey.

So my FH isn't the only one!!!! There are others out there. He is constantly playing Xbox, but i just find other things to do on my own.

Also, have you tried playing with him? I am not a huge gamer, but I do like my share of playing. Maybe it is something that you guys can do together (not all the time) sometimes.

We play together sometimes--I love guitar hero :) but he plays that gears of war crap withhis friends on x-box live so they dont really want me to play since i am not good and they are soo into it.

I too second maybe trying to play with your FH. We play Little Big Planet which is a cute PS3 game in which you are a sackboy or girl. You wear cute little costumes and it's like Super Mario. He actually got it especially to play with me so he knows i cant play those other crazy games he plays because they are way hard. I also enjoy Grand Theft Auto because its set in NY so its pretty cool to see familiar sites in a video game.

I love guitar hero as well and yes I understand what you mean about gears.. i tried it once and couldnt even aim. All FH kept yelling was 'AIM, AIM'... Yeah not for me.

You have to work with the compromise of xbox.... I used to get mad, but I have now used it to my advantage.... while he plays- I am on here or doing anything else.... when I want to watch ANY SHOW- even THE HILLS... FH will turn off the xbox and watch with me.... bc thats our compromise- he plays until I've had enough and want to watch something or go somewhere... I dont want to hear complaining bc he plays so much. Boys really will be boys....like he's addicted to xbox, Im addicted to the internet and this site lol

FH is OBSESSED with world of warcraft.. he was on there once for 12 HOURS STRAIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sometimes it can get super annoying but other times it is nice for both of us to do our own thing for a while.. It depends on what mood I am in at the time...

Me too! Me too! My FH plays every day, some times all day (he works nights). It drives me crazy -- esp. when I get home from working all day and the house is a mess because he was playing.

He once didn't speak to me for 2 whole days because he was obsessed with some game.

Usually Sunday nights are spent chatting with his friends using Xbox live, and I'm relegated to the bedroom.

I keep telling him that if he ever leaves me it will be for an xbox!! LOL

I wish mine only played for 3 hours!!!! He would play the whole day if he could!!!!!

I'm going to play devil's advocate here. I love playing Wii!!! I sometimes play for the same amount of time as your FH.

FH & I play together sometimes for like 5 hours at a time. Then we take turns.

Maybe you could find a game you both like and play together??

this is me right at this moment

There are times where I have to draaaaaaaaaaaag FH off of the computer. Especially this week, where we barely got to see each other (and we live together!). I can understand having computer down time, but he totally can lose track of time, and I'm stuck reminding him ever-so-gently that he promised to spend time with me.

One of my BMs had to actually to have their couples therapist work out a compromise between her and her husband because he would use the Xbox for 4 hours straight. I've warned him that we would go that route, too. . .because let's face it, I need attention after talking to nothing but 8 through 12 year olds all day.

i played for 11 hours straight one day.
