When I was at my fitting I tried on my actual veil for the first time! I hated it!!!! I couldnt wait to get it off me. It wasnt pressed and it was really poofy. Someone please assure me that it wont be a big poof ball after it is pressed. Cause if it is I wont wear a veil! *Edited to say 'I should have bought a veil on a stick!!!'

I really dont want to shop for another veil, I am getting so wedding lazy! Do you think it will be less poofy when it is pressed?

Re: I hated my veil yesterday!
The pics are on my MOH's camera But here is a description, It is a two tier waterfall veil, with slight trim on the botttom. It is on a comb, and it wasnt pressed yet, so when it was ontop of my head I felt like it was sticking up and out... It is waist length, but seemed shorter yesterday cause of the POOF!

Don't worry! If it's only 2 tiers, it can easily be pressed and it won't be as poofy as you think it is!
Mine is 3 tiers, and I'm afraid I'm going to look like a marshmallow.

It really depends on what look you were going for. IMO, a waist length two tier gathered veil is fairly poofy...and most brides like it that way. If you want something more streamlined, maybe you should remove one of the layers.

Honestly you should speak to the bridal shop. I hated my first headpiece when it finally came in. I cried over it. They exchanged it for a new one and I loved #2. Just ask if you can try on another veil.
