i have a bad banana

well its on its way to bad, but its still not looking pretty

you guys got any good easy recipes for banana cake or any dessert?

ps: i feel like im in heaven when i eat banana bread/cake

oh and i checked the 2010 recipe book

I have a great banana bread recipe. So easy and yummy! Now I want banana bread! I have all of the ingredients except for....bananas!

Here is the recipe: It works best with ripe bananas:
-6 bananas
-2 cups of sugar
-2 eggs
-1/2 cup melted butter
-3 cups flour
-2 teaspoons baking soda
-2 teaspoons salt
1 cup chopped walnuts

Mash bananas with a fork. Stir in other ingredients in the order given until just blended. Do not overmix. Pour into two greased and floured 9x5loaf pans and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.

Here's an easy recipe for banana pudding

1 box instant vanilla pudding
8 oz. sour cream (opt.)
8 oz. Cool Whip
Bananas
Vanilla wafers

Mix pudding like directions on package. Add sour cream and Cool Whip. Place bananas and crackers. Add mixture. As many layers as desired.

ahhhh, this woulda been great but i dont have baking soda except for the one to keep the fridge from not being smelly, lol, eww i know. i dont think it would be too cool to cook with that

This is why I love this site... I have been searching for my mother's banana bread recipe all week to bring in for my office holiday party tomorrow. Its lost. My mom passed away 6 yrs ago... however, this one is pretty close to the one I remember making with her. Your Ladies are Awesome!!!! I have to start baking now.

weight watchers has a yummy receipe for banna chipper muffins. They dont even taste like a ligher option

check out www.allrecipes.com You can put in what ingredients you want/have and what you don't and they narrow down recipes for you. They have pretty good reviews of everything too. I find great stuff on there.
