maybe you can promise yourself a reward for when you finish your first draft......and then a bigger reward for when you finish....

take a break and come back to it - no sense in trying if you know you are not going to do it!

ugh, I am trying to write a paper, too (8-9 pages.) I am on page 2

I just have no desire to do this on a Saturday night!!!!!
