I have a BIG problem and I need your help (kinda long)

so, I ordered my dresses online and for my 2 MOH, got a different top than the other BM. One of the MOH (my sister) got her dress today and it doesn't fit! and the jacket she ordered to go over doesn't fit either. I don't think the company will take them back because she just gained weight since she gave me her measurements...i'm so frustrated-- with her- for putting on so much weight that she thinks she needs something 2 sizes bigger, and with myself-- i tried to save a little money and it's going to cost me more to fix this now!

does anyone know how much it costs to get a jacket made? will a regular tailor do that? any ideas about what I should do???

please help me!!!

You should try and get in touch with a reputable seamstress who makes dresses....maybe that would be a start to the prob. Try calling JC Penney and finding out who they use. I've heard in the past she is good. Maybe you could get the material or she could just work with whats there....?

Lot of Luck!

can she go on a diet??
I am not trying to be rude but can she drop a few so she fits in the dress?

Did you at least try and call the company? You don't need to mention the weight gain, just say it doesn't fit. Can't hurt, can it? They might be very accomodating. The cost of exchanging for a new size might not be too far off from having a new one made.

Thanks girls- I appreciate your suggestions. I tried to suggest that she lose some weight and she flipped out on me...like it's my fault her dress doesn't fit. the hard part is that she's my sister---it's all drama.
