I have a carseat question.

I have a carseat question.

I am registered for the Graco Snugride Infant Seat. I go back and forth with the Primo Viaggio and keep changing it depending on different reviews I read and so forth.

I had made my decision to get an infant seat exclusively based on your opinions on this site, that the baby is so little in the beginning, that she'd be swimming in a convertible seat. But my friend due a few weeks after me is registered for the Britax infant to toddler seat and I can't help but think - whos' the dummy here. I am the one that will have to spend another xxxx dollars within 3-4 months......

Whaddya think? And sorry for the repeat question. I know it's been gone over before. I understand all the LATCH compatible information, the height and weight things, etc.

I have the Primo Viaggio. I also considered using JUST the Britax seat, but I like the 'cozy' factor of the infant seat. The infant/toddler one just seems so big...

I had the snugride and now the Britax Marathon. From Consumer Reports the Snugride is the top rated infant seat. So is the Britax (I have the Marathon) Not having the other seat you mentioned I would still have the infant seat/carrier. Not having to pick up the baby out of the car every time you go someplace makes all the differnece if you dont have to wake him/her up.

Yes, you may have to spend more $$ in 5-6 months but the convenience you will have over your friend who is just getting the infant / toddler convertable outways the $$. JMO
