the chinese calendar hasn't come out yet for 2010 and we'd like to plan our wedding so we might end up moving our wedding up 6 months for fall 09... but i'm still in love with spring 2010!
reasoning behind this, is that for us we need to have an auspicious date, so without knowing we're getting married on a 'lucky' date my parents would be none to happy to let me go ahead with the wedding...
gaah, this is such a hard decision...
i would have to wait till next fall in order to find a good date for spring 2010, i think that would be a little too late to throw together a wedding in 6 months, which is why im not doing spring 2009 now...

I love cherry blossoms, they are beautiful. And I agree, I love the spring. That's why I chose it too!

i may just keep with the original plan just so i can continue being a 2010 liw bride hahaa
but today i had lunch with my mom, they might go to a blind fortune teller (it's so pagan ) to find an auspicious date for chris and i instead of going with a calendar or the big ol red book (thats some kinda chinese almanac, the 2010 version won't be out until later next year which would defeat the whole point of planning for spring 2010 now)

I'm a cherry blossom lover too, so I know how you feel. All of the fall wedding stuff is out now and looks amazing! But, I just can't part with the cherry blossoms. I hope it works out for you.
