the condom broke! we DH suggested the age-old pull out method....

It's too soon after AF to be worried, right?

do you want to be pregnant. Didn't you have a scard last month too? My advise - if you don't want to get pregnant, don't have sex that way. You can get pregnant although it is unlikely.

it wasn't really a 'scare' per se....just something unplanned but would have been welcomed had that been the outcome...

I'd have to agree. It seemed like you put yourself through a lot of stress last month waiting for AF to arrive. To avoid such stress, you should really be careful.
