I have a dilemma as well...

I have a dilemma as well...

I just posted this as a reply to someone else’s dilemma, but I think I need my own thread (lol)

Last night I was complaining to my FH that 1 of my sister's (matron of honor) doesn't even reply to my emails let alone phone calls. Even though she lives across the country, when she got married I did EVERYTHING for her, even coordinated her bridal shower from 3,000 miles away.

And on the flip side, I have a girlfriend who is not in the BP (I am only having 2 MOH's) and has been unbelievably helpful!!!

I'm so pissed off at my sis. But what am I supposed to do, ask her to step down and replace her with my girlfriend? FH says no way.

What to do!!?

wow, this is definitely a tricky situation. Of course you can't tell her to step down but can you talk to her and tell her how you feel?
In the other hand, can you also ask your friend to be in your bridal party or she is not as close?
Good luck, I know it's a hard situation.

I know I can't ask her to step down, but I really feel like it. She is one of those incredibly self centered and selfish people. But she is my sister.

My girlfriend who's been such an awesome resource is one of my best-est buddies. I was her MOH years ago.

My FH is only having a BM, so I really can't extend the BP beyond my 2 sisters. This really stinks!

i agree w your FH but i do understand why you're disappointed since she's not returning the same favor. maybe she's really busy or something. and all the non response is making you think think think and it'll only make you think the worst. just be thankful you have someone here you can lean on. and once your sis finally calls you back everything will be all cleared up. you'll see...
