I HAVE A DRESS!!!

We (Mom, oldest sister and I ) went to Bridal Reflections in Carle Place today and had a WONDERFUL experience there. I walked in and told our salesperson (Maddy) that I needed a dress to cover the tattoo between my shoulder blades (see pic below). I was very limited in my choices. Most of what she brought was very classy and elegant straight and not poofy. She knew my style without me having to tell her. My guess is that she saw my age and knew I wasn't looking for excessive fabric. So just when we gave up hope(because of the tattoo issue), Maddy brings out this dress with an asymmetrical back and I asked her 'Is that a Romona Keveza? I saw it online and loved it and it meets my needs but didn't think it would look good.' She confirmed my suspicion and I tried it on. I knew right away as did my mom and my sister. I am very excited. I got the dress I wanted!

Thanks ladies!!! Its just another weight off my shoulders. The tattoo thing is a big deal since I am Jewish and I am not supposed to have them in the first place. Check Leviticus Chapter 19 verse 26 (or is it 28). But what's done is done and there is nothing I can do about it. Right now its out of sight and out of mind!

Very classy and that back is unique, so it serves your purpose and looks great. I actually have a scar on my chest area that's in a higher place than is covered by most necklines. So, I had a unique situation as well. My attendant found me a great dress with a sillhouette front with lots of beading that will cover it. I had been so nervous that I wouldn't find anything that looks nice. It's amazing what these ladies can do. I showed her a few printouts, told her my special needs and she was off running.

Yeah, I fell in love with my dress. It was the first one I tried on and me, my mom, and the sales lady knew it would be the one. Bad thing is I can't find a pic of it now and I want to see it again! I'm sick ... I miss a dress!
