I have a dress!!
I finally picked my dress this weekend! I think I really chose it a month ago, but we went to go put down the deposit on Saturday! I am so excited!
Some of you will remember my meltdown over dress shopping a few months ago:
Dress Shopping Panic Attack
I ended up going to four stores in total: three in Brooklyn and one in Manhattan over two weekends. I tried on *my dress* (I love saying that) in a Brooklyn shop but I had had some issues with them in the past for my sister's wedding so I didn't want to order there, but they do have a huge selection so I just went there to try on. Anyhoo, they also had the sample of my dress available at RK Bridal in Manhattan where I ended up buying! I had a wonderful experience there. Everyone is really nice and helpful and I highly recommend so far!!! But I have to say, in almost every store I went to, I was able to try on dresses and no one made me feel uncomfortable or embarrassed.
Anyway, on to the dress. You know how everyone tells you 'You never pick the dress you think you're going to pick'? Well they were wrong LOL I had ripped this dress out of a magazine a couple of years ago and haven't been able to get it out of my mind ever since! When I tried it on I knew it was the one!![]()
Here is a poor quality photo of me in my dress (and a terrible photo of me in general haha) and the picture off their website that I will leave up for the rest of today. (I know FH won't snoop but I still get nervous!) The dress is a Private Label by G.
Edit: oh and I forgot to add that I am using PLBG's 'Personal Touch' option to extend the cap sleeves a little bit. Can't wait til it comes in!
