Hi my helpful ladies.. When i went to visit JT they asked me we were going to have Grace as well as a toast... Grace for those that may not know is a prayer before we all start to eat dinner...
We decided well actually my fh decided he would love to have grace said at the wedding .....

Re: I have a 'Grace'
We are not doing it (at least i don't think we are) but I have been to weddings (including my sister's) where Grace was said.
Are you having an officiant do it?
I think it is a nice touch if it is something you are both into.

Re: I have a 'Grace'
I am not doing it...but the thing is that i will have many different religions at my wedding so don't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable or one religion more favored over the other...first of all fh and i are different religions...getting married at a catholic church, but think i won't have my family feel more like i am not doing anything for my own religion hahaha
its a nice idea.

Re: I have a 'Grace'
Our priest is invited to the wedding & he will do a blessing before the meal- kind of like grace but with a prayer for the bride and groom

we're doing it. I thought it would be a nice way to incorporate my best friends' mom - who is very religious. Her father is walking my mom down the aisle.

Forget it I realized what I wrote didn't make sense. And I am not sure how to reexplain it.

FH's uncle is doing our mass. He will probably give a blessing at the reception too.

It is done at a lot of weddings, but it is the choice of the bride and groom. It is a very nice touch to add.
