Call your doc. When I had a horrible cold my doc wanted to make sure I was out of my 1st tri before taking Sudafed.

tylenol, if you don't get better, go to your doc, you are less able to fight off germs since you're protecting your baby, so you may need an anibiotic. Sudafed can make you VERY jittery.

drink OJ, lots of water, steam should help the congestion, and some high doses of protein like chicken soup! And lots of rest...feel better sweetie!!!

Doctor said to wait it out unless I develop an infection. Wait it out? How long will I be 'waiting it out'? I feel like crap and look like crap.

I'm sorry to hear you are still sick. I would call the Dr. again and tell him that you can not take it anymore and feel as though you are getting worse. There are plenty of medications they can put you on that are safe while pregnant.

I woiuld go see the Dr.. i had a really bad cold also. You can take Zythomax while you are pregnant.. i took it plenty of time during my 1st and 2nd trimester. Keep ypurself well hydrated with plenty of water and juice and also try vicks vapor rub cream.. that will help you breathe eaiser. Also take run the water really hot and sit in a steam bath. I hope you feel better... i can totally relate with you... i was sick for the first 3 months
