I have a Q regarding FM Entertainment & DJ 's_UPDATE!!

OK SO I have question regarding FM Entertainment. I wanted to make an appointment to meet with them, but they said they dont do private showcases. So i would have to go on their time. Which is kind of annoying because FH doesnt usually get home early enough to go see them & their Saturday's are few & far between. It figures they have one this Sat. but of course we will be AC. Did anyone else have this problem? What did you guys do? Just took other peoples word??? HELP!

So Frank from FM just called me. He was an absolute sweetheart! He fully answered all of my questions & really talked honestly about his availability for my wedding date. Which I appreciate. Especially since it seems like everyone wants Frank! Im more then confident that they have alot more excellent dj/mc's. So he let me know that they moved their Tues. 4/1/08 7pm showcase to Monday 3/31/08 8pm. Which Im so happy about because i think i could actually have FH with me. Since we both are taking that day to check out DJ's. Anyway, I just wanted everyone on here to know that FM Entertainment is not only personable but very professional. I like a person who gets to his potentials but NOT in an annoying fashion!

We live in NJ so getting to a showcase in very hard for us! BUT I know that they have one for the next 3 Saturdays I believe. Did you try emailing them with your situation to see if they would make an exception??

I went to a showcase. That would me my advice. If you trust a certain person on here who has the same interests and likes/dislikes maybe you can use them for your judgement.

I personally go by what I like and not others reviews when picking the vendor. I give vendors a shot if they have good reviews. In the end its your wedding and you should pick your vendors because you like them.

I have not booked with them for an appt yet but will let you know. also, yes, explain situation to them. if a vendor wants your business they should be accomodating

This was a problem for us too because FH and I were able to attend showcases either. We live in the city, so by the time we would get out of work, it just didn't work for us. I called DJ's that were recommended to us and the only one I found accommodating was LI Sound. They put on a private showcase for FH and I. My friends used them for their weddings and they were AWESOME! I only heard good things about them. Call them. they are alble to accommodate your needs.

we went on a saturday, but i know that they have showcases during the week as well. maybe you can ask for a sched. they also have more than one location. i hope it works out for you. good luck!

When I went to their showcase they had them on Sunday. Did they tell you when the next Sunday showcase will be.

that is strange. when i emailed about a showcase they gave me available dates but then said if i can't make it for those dates, we could set up a private showcase. maybe you should call again and find out the deal. they should be able to accomodate you!

Actually.. this is how i made my decision NOT to use them. And then everytime i called them, NOONE picked up. If they're like this now.. what would they be like for my wedding?

yeah that weird that they never pick up.. i would get a lil nervous
