I HAVE A QUESTION??

Re: I HAVE A QUESTION??

See she probably would not share a great deal with me, she probably would not want me to get it, she only seem to want to share the pricey items with me Oh well.

My mom is a saavy shopper and I wish I had her skills, those people I bow to, they can watch an item and coupon up an item, now that I want to hear about.

On another note, I have a girl I work with that is constantly ASKING ME what I paid for things....and I always answer 'Oh, not much' or 'It was a great deal' or 'about average for what ABC goes for'...

UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY DO YOU CARE SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to work with someone like that!!!

I tried being nice and polite or vague but when she started telling people I was wasting MY money. SHe had no basis for this since she didn't know what I spent. She thought it was excessive of me to rent a summer share in the hamptons and go a vacation. So, I started telling her what I paid for things, and bumped it up a few bucks.

Of course she went running back to tell someone else that I paid $100 for a haircut and that person came to me and asked why I would rub that in her face. I flipped out and said because she kept asking until I gave her an answer so I did and I dare her to ask me how much I spend on my nails (I had wraps at the time )

She stopped asking me after that

Uughhh, I know someone like this. We were planning our weddings at the same time and she had to tell everyone how much money they were spending on every little thing and it was a TON of money!!! Since her wedding I have had to listen to how much they make, their big promotions, their expensive vacations, presents to each other, blah, blah, blah.

The worse part about it is when I tell her anything, like that Keith and I are going to Vegas, she always puts down what I have said (Vegas is boring, I didn't really like it there) and then tells me that she is spending sooooo much money on their nest trip to wherever.

FBIL is like that. I personally do it with friends when I got a really good bargain on the item....I'm proud of my bargain hunting skills!

This stuff I love to hear!!!!!!!!

My sister gets the best deals it sometimes seems like the stores are paying her to take the items home with her sometimes

why do they do that?? like they are trying to knock your purchases??? Will it make them feel better??? And is it intended to make you feel bad about your decisions.

Comments like: I would never buy that, or I would never pay that amount of money for that etc, etc, I did not ask your opinion. So darn self centered

Re: I HAVE A QUESTION??

i remember a high school teacher once telling my class...
people who wear shirts with the designer name across it have self esteem issues.. that they wear it so people know what designer they are wearing...

i thought about it, and thats probably why i wore them... like the dkny shirt, or calvin klein..although i dont wear them anymore..
