Does anyone know what post offices still allow you to purchase a passport. And do we still have to get blood work done before we can get our marriage license?

Re: I have a question
1) There is a passport office in the Bay Shore post office on Fifth Avenue by Sunrise (don't know if this is convenient for you).
2) A blood test is not necessary for the license.

Re: I have a question
The link below is provided by the U.S. Department of State. Type in your zip code and the mile radius and it will give you a list of post offices near you where you can apply for or renew a passport.
You can download the forms and just mail it in. You do not need to go to the post office. Just saving you a trip.
I just recently did mine.
Hope that helps. Not too sure about marriage license.

That was my understanding too. I believe you must apply in person if you are applying for a passport for the first time. Check the US Dept of State website.
