FH and I are going to our RH tonight to make a payment. I am bringing 2 of my BM's so that they can see what my RH looks like. I will be asking them for advice on centerpieces and other wedding ideas. I know some people have pics of their RH. Should I ask if it is ok if I take pics while I am there? Also, I called the other day and said I had questions about the linens and wanted to look at them while I was there but I was told that they are in the process of getting new ones so I should wait. I guess I have to be patient, huh? I am trying to think of what else I need to ask while I am there that I haven't asked yet. Any ideas? TIA!

Re: I have a question...
i have to agree with the RH that you should wait to look at linens since your wedding is a year away...you'll have a meeting a few months beofre your wedding to go over the details of your wedding and finalize things like linens etc.
I don't see why they would have any problems with taking photos...after all, people take photos of the hall when they attend actual events there.

Re: I have a question...
I think a lot of girls take pics while they are there..I kept forgetting to bring my camera when I was checking out RHs. I really don't think they should have a problem though! Have fun!

The RH should not give you a problem with photographing the place, esp. since you already booked with them.
You might want to look at the dias table (sweetheart table) or the cake table for the sizes so you can figure out if you need flowers for them.

thats such a great idea to take pictures of the hall, I can't see why they would have a problem. Wish I thought to do that myself before I ordered everything!

Re: I have a question...
You are getting married a year from now, I would wait to see the linens until after they replace the ones they have. Most RHs will allow you to take pictures while you are there, just ask b/c some may freak out

Re: I have a question...
Oh I took so many pics of my rh. I think its almost expected. And I wanted to see their new napkins and tablecloths too.
I remember sitting at their tables because although they might say 12 fit comfortable, see for yourself.
Also, I just needed to know exactly where everything and everyone was gonna be located.
I would ask if they are planning on doing any renovations before you're wedding... ya never know. My rh was redoing their elevators, changing carpets and doing touch-ups in my room but they were supposed to be done by now (I gotta go this month for another payment so I'll see for myself). They should be able to tell you if it might interfere with your event.
Find out if you'll be the only party using the restrooms in case you wanted to include one of those bathroom baskets.
I dunno.. thats all I can think of now. But you still have plenty of time to come up with questions lol

Re: I have a question...
I took tons of pics of the thatched cottage -- no problems at all! I don't have them on here, but curiousgeorge has tons of pics of her wedding at there. I'm haven't even looked at the linens yet, don't worry!
