Re: i have a question about my DH
Wow ... my DH is 32, going to be 33 in October and is in no way thinking about children - he thinks he doesn't have a clock and that he'd chime at any age.
I'd say that your husband is probably ready for one real soon!

Re: i have a question about my DH
Is the question 'can a man have a biological clock?' Or is the question 'oh my GOD my HUSBAND has one!!!!???'
This is a weird thing. I don’t know if my hubby has one or not, but I know that right before we got married he said out of nowhere…I am ready for a baby now, so let’s get moving on that after the wedding. And that was it. Out of nowhere. Sometimes I think it just clicks to them that they feel secure in their financial situation, their growth, friends, family, etc. and that it will be okay to take on the next responsibility. I don’t know if they 'feel' a tugging like some women do (I never did) – or feel like they want to be holding a little bean in a fuzzy sleeper (like I did!). But I think it’s more attached to - I am ready. I am secure. I can do this. Let’s produce my exact replica that can torture you for the rest of your life!!!! KIDDING!!!!

Re: i have a question about my DH
Tony Randall was like 70, Larry King in his 60's, Hugh Hefner in his 60's all when they had children. Men do not have a finite amount of sperm, like women have eggs. Sperm is newly produced often, so it isn't like it gets 'old' like a women's eggs. Your husband might just be feeling like now is the time to have a baby more than an actual biological clock. Women have an actual set timeframe to have a baby. It depends on the women just how long or short that time frame is.
Also, many people do not like the idea of having an 18 year old when they are 65 or older so some people feel that there is a better time to have children. It is a very personal decision, of course.

Re: i have a question about my DH
About a year ago right before we got married he said in a joking way lets have a HM baby? I think he meant it. Not that I am dissapointed he feels this way, I actually like the fact that he does. For a while he said he did not want kids and since our firend had a kid he has changed dramatically.
