for the past few days. could it be a pinched nerve? I get neck and back muscle spasms and i read online that they are connected to the hands....
anyone ever experience this?

I get that a lot also. Mine is due to carpal tunnel syndrome. Its starts from the back of my shoulder and goes straight to my fingers. It wakes me up at night sometimes when my hand goes numb. I dont know if it is the same thing you are feeling but if it, to releive the pain if you use your fingers and put pressure on the hand that hurts between the the thumb and the pointer finger it will releive the pain a little.

Definitely sounds a bit like carpal tunnel, but could also be a pinched nerve of some sort and conneted to the back spasms you are experiencing. I have two herniated disks and sometimes the pain from that is different (sometimes its my neck, sometimes my back, etc)
I was having this in my left hand BADLY for the past month and I chalked it up to too much time on the internet (shocking huh! )
We seem to be having so many similar medical maladies lately!! (first the chest pain, now this!)
