I have another interview today at 430...question

It is for a company that I actually did a case study on in college as part of my thesis. In the study (which was done 3 yrs ago), I had to evaluate the company (pitfalls and all, good and bad). It was overall positive, but I was thinking of giving a copy of it to the interviewer. I got an A on it!

What do you think

I think it's a good idea as something to offer at the end of the interview. I wouldn't offer it before the end though.

Good luck!

Hmm, that's tough because on the one hand, you want to show how knowledgeable and dedicated and smart and what-not you are, but on the other hand, I just don't know. What were the downfalls that you looked at? Is it something they will get offended by? Not that they should get offended, but you don't want to dig your own grave, so to speak. Maybe just mention that you did it and talk about it?

I wouldn't give a study to them. I think its ok to mention it and highlight the good points of the company, but I don't think its appropriate to give it to them at the interviewing stage

IMO- It would be best not to bring that up.
I had a similar situation when I got my new job. I ended up sharing the info after I got the job, and made a good first impression instead.
Keep all that good knowledge about the company to yourself right now, and shine in the interview! Let it look like you did the research on your own, and it was not forced research for school.

Hmm…. Is it perfectly written? Is there anything in it at all that would make them think you might have a partly negative image of them? I wouldn’t hand an interviewer anything that wasn’t grammatically perfect or anything that contained anything negative about the company. You can always keep it with you and see how things go. When you’re there you might get a feel for whether or not the person you get would appreciate something like that. Good luck!

Thanks! I was leaning towards not giving it to them. Wouldn't want it to drag me down if they saw something critical I wrote.

OK the interview went very well! But imagine having to wear a suit in Manhattan on a day like today - UGH! I just casually mentioned the case study and he was very impressed by it
