I was talking to my mother today about favors and we couldn't decide something. I am getting a favor that is going to be most likely a box of godiva chocolates or M&M. Do you give a favor to each person at the wedding or do you give one per couple? We are confused, especially since it is candy.

I am doing 1 per couple. But I am not doing candy. If I were I would probably do one per person.. unless its godiva like you said b/c even the small 2 pack is expensive.

To MrsZ, the M&M favors are just as expensive as the Godiva chocolates. To give every person at my wedding a favor would cost me around $600. That's a lot of money for candy! I guess I will decide when the wedding gets closer.

Oh your doing the personalized ones??? those are very $$$$$
If you wait till after valentines day... last year godiva had all the cute heart shaped box's ( w/ 2 chocolates each) on sale for like .50 each!!!!! I wanted to get them but they didnt have enough for me and with the wedding still being a year away I was too lazy to go around to a few different godivas to get them.

I'm doing one for eacg person but we're not having a huge wedding. It ends up being 175 favors for everyone.
