I have been asked to add more to my registry!!!!!!

WHAT??

FH called and said his Mom said that it wasn't enough.
WHO IS SHE INVITING?
I don't have that many friends (I am old).

We have plenty on there and 15 - 50 dollar GCs.
I am tempted to just add more.

I have no more space and it's not like we can get bed spreads etc cuz we aren't looking to look for a place until after the wedding.

I am registered at BBB..should I just get anything and then return/exchange? What's their policy?

If it gets taken off your registry and you return it to BBB you can get cash back if you ask for it.

Don't feel bad I was asked like three times to add stuf from my registry and most people didn't buy stuff off of it anyway.

Just add things. If you want make a registry on amazon.com. It'll give you the opportunity to add different types of things (ex., electronics).

Don't feel bad. I had a huge registry of 'practical' items that I really wanted and FH's step mother told me that her friends didn't find enough 'pretty' things on our registry so were forced to go and buy stuff off of it. People are silly.

Just add more stuff and throw some more expensive items on there too! Some people will surprise you and spend a lot more than you would expect them to!

Can you register for stuff you might want later and store at parents house? We have no registry gifts at our apartment and everything at parents homes on LI!

I feel you're pain too! FMIL told me we didn't have things that were expensive enough (which I tend to disagree with) so I had to register for things that we need/want but are really expensive. If people want to spend a certain amount then they can buy a bunch of stuff if everything is under their price range. If you are happy with your registry then just keep it but if you think you need to add then yes add to BBB and then just return it if you don't want it.
