mu husband already lost his wedding band
He feels awful so I have been trying to be cool about it
we still have a few more places to look- and luckily I was lazy this week and didn't take the garbage to the incenartor- so I get to go thru 3 bags of garbage tonight
the cleaning lady comes today- I asked her to look for it
I know it's not the end of the world- but he loses things all the time-I just wish he was more careful-

update- he found it
it was walking around the house this morning and he kicked a roll of paper towels and out flew the ring!
he put it in a safe place and is wearing his fake one- from the HM
he is only going to wear it on special occassions!
I feel so much better
Beth, my DH lost his ring 5 times. The 5th time he lost it permanently. He got a cheap gold ring instead and he hasn't lost it since. You should have heard the fights!

I wasn't replacing this one! I told him he could buy himself the next one- b/c this one was way too much as it was

He lost a gold and platinum ring that was $$$$. I told him, you get a cheap one now..he did, he hasn't complained..but he hasn't lost it yet
I even found it on our driveway one time and kept it for 2 days w/o telling him. He didn't have the nerve to tell me he lost it again. I finally asked him about his ring and he said, well I lost it, I'm sorry. And I practically threw it at him!

I am so happy you guysfound it!
I agree that he should wear the fake everyday, and wear the real one on special ocasions (my FH will be doing that as well).

FH always 'loses' his college ring, which he wears everday. It's usually on the floor under the bed or near the couch. We have small apartment - but that damn ring gets lost in the clutter all the time!!!

Very happy you found it! I would probably have my FH wear a plain gold band on a daily basis also. I would be upset with him for not being careful with something so important!

Yay! I was just starting my prayer to St Anthony.
That ALWAYS works!!!!! I swear! I lost my ATM card and prayed to him and I found it
Actually, it probably would have been a good thing if it was lost for a little while longer

my DH lost his on the honeymoon! he decided to take a sailboat out one day while i was reading on the beach... and he flipped the boat and the ring fell off ( i guess it was a combo of the water making his fniers shrink and the suntan lotion making it slippery)... it was just a basic titanium ring so it wasnt too $$$, but still! i told him i wasn't buying the second one! the day after we got back, he went and got another one

thats good he found it, I was going to tell you to check the bathroom, Rings like to fall behind stuff when you take it off to shower.
