OMG Guess what the NYC 2008-09 School Calender came out. We have been planning a Friday 1/2/09 wedding, and I have not booked the church until we found out if NYC schools system was OFF and we are OFF FRIDAY JAN 2,2009. I am soooo happy now I can book the church for anytime we want.

Very nice! I hope I am off that day too - since it falls on a Fri, I don';t see how they can make us go in for one day - all of the kids would be absent anyway.

I am sad! I am getting married on June 20,2009 which means I will have to go to work right after the wedding since school ends on the 27th I think. The full calendar isn't posted. :( I can't take off 5 days after the wedding and days before. IDK
I was showing everyone at work today that we have off that day everyone is so happy. For me and for having off.
