Okay, so I decided I would like to add someone to my bridal party. At the moment I have 4 girls and 7 guys, so I figured one more girl couldn't hurt. The girl is the wife of my FH good friend. They lived in California, but are now living here. She is really nice, and I just started talking to here on the phone alot, and we hung out alone yesterday for the first time with out FH and her husband around. SO I guess you can say, we are becoming good friends. Her husband is also in the wedding party. They never had a real wedding, since he was in the military. THey had a shot gun wedding, before he went overseas. So we thought it would be nice for them, to get dressed up and walk down the isle together, even if its not their wedding. Also, they have a baby, and it would be nice to get out for the night alone. They have his family to babysit.
What does everyone think?
The other problem is the girls already ordered their gown. Do you think I can order one more. I don't know how that works. I am not going to ask her until, I call the salon.

I think it's a great idea and very thoughtful of you to consider that they didn't have a formal wedding of their own. If you feel close to her, then go for it and ask her! As for the dresses, just call the salon, as long as it can be made in enough time, it shouldn't be a problem.

Sounds like a great idea to me and I think it will actually bring the 2 of you closer together. I'm sure you can order another dress. They say they have to order them all together so they're all from the same dye lot, but I'm sure it doesn't make that big of a difference.

thats really sweet of you to even think about adding her to your BP. I'm sure she'll be surprised when you ask her.
I don't think it'll be problem adding another dress, afterall - more business for them, why would they say no?

Thanks guys! I am going to call the salon on Tuesday. FH talked to her husband, (Hes in California, just getting out of the service). He said it is a great idea, and he thinks she will go for it. So if the salon says yes, I will give her a call.

Me and FH are also thinking of paying for them to stay the night in the hotel, that me and other BP are staying at. We thought it would be a nice wedding gift. They have not been alone in a long time, and we thought it would be a nice gesture. I actually thought of it, and then FH came out and suggested it. I guess our minds think alike.

That would be a great BP gift for them..you can present it to them in a gift bag with a bottle of champagne and chocolates!!!!
