Sorry I'm of no help I'm having the same problem. I told FH if he doesn't give me any hints than hes getting a lot of clothes and no Yankee clothes! ( everything he wears is Yankees)

I got DH an MP3 player, pedometer, watch, wallet, a pair of gloves and some underwear

no...he really doesn't have a hobby. He loves doing things around the house, but I don't know where to go with that???

Some cool gadget? Last year I got DH a laser level. There's a laser measuring tape thing I want to get him this year.

He's a self-admitted computer geek (he does it for a living), so I bought some computer related things. Shirts for work, a baseball cap that says 'Computer Wizard'. Cute stuff.

What about a circular saw, or a midor (sp?) table... Recpricating saw... or a cordless reversable drill... the new gladiator set up at loews..

cologne, playstation games, computer crap...cloths..surround sound stuff...

History books, biographies, framed maps?

Games? I got my sister's BF the Lord of the Rings Trivia game.

Tickets for a play, sporting evemt or upcoming concerts?

Overnight trip to say foxwoods or atlantic city?

DH is impossible too - I am reaching with the MP3 player. I think (hope) he'll enjoy it, but I know I am going to have to program it for him

he has a circular saw, a drill and all that stuff.
We have surround speakers already
he is not into books much
we have a puppy already
and i bought him golf lessons for his birthday...
We have Nintendo64, but he doesn't play it much...

Thanks to someone's great reply I am going to get him this....and a really good electric razor

well anyway it is the 3 piece lazor tool set...a tape measure, level, and stud finder (pic isn't working)

I saw this gadget on TV that helps you make a straight line with a laser. I asked my FH if he wanted it and he said he didn't think he'd use it, but I think it's so cool!

What about XM satelite radio?
THey have ones now that you can have in your car and then bring into the house too!

That sums it up for me, most of my chedda goes towards my wedding
