Ok so my wedding is on Friday, October 13th. Is that why I'm the ONLY one??? I keep hearing crazy things like 'OMG are you nuts, or WOW you guys are daring. HUH? We didn't even think twice about it..and found it funny that it fell on that day....AND get this..1013 in cop talk means officer needs assistance.. Yep FH is a cop!!!

I have found that People have a comment about anything and everything! That Date is perfect for you! You Picked It! Thats why its perfect!....I have had people ask why in hell would i want a wedding in December? Because thats the day that was perfect for us! and under my breath....(i saying ...SHUT UP) haha

The number 13 is only associated with bad luck in the United States. The rest of the world holds no such crazy superstition. Enjoy the heck out of your day, and to every one else !!!!!

My parents got married on a 'friday the 13th' and they just celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary. AND it rained on their wedding day. There is nothing to those superstitions.

I always thought the rain superstition was that it was GOOD luck if it rained on your wedding day...
And as for Friday the 13th, I wouldn't have thought twice about it either!

No worries! My best friend is going to a wedding on 10/13 in New Jersey....the family is mostly dominican/puerto rican and they didn't think twice about it...! Enjoy your day! You've worked so hard, nobody has the right to say crapolla!!!

The aerobic instructor at my gym is getting married this day too! She says its her good luck day b/c thats the day her and her FH met!

The only thing it means is that there will be Halloween Movies playing on TV and scary movies are coming out on that day... other than that your wedding will be just like everyone elses.
I would just beware of Michael Meyers and Black Cats
You can also reverse it.. if Rain can mean good luck on your wedding day than getting married on Fri. 13th can also be a sign of good luck.

us too!!! FH & I met on 10/13/00 (it was a Friday just like it is this year)......if we could, we would get married on a Friday the 13th in a heartbeat! it just doesn't work out with next year's calendar.

That day will be beautiful, and you and FH will have a lifetime filled with love and happiness!
I work at a catering hall that does 3 weddings at a time and we have 1 wedding in the morning and 3 at night that day, so you do have twins out there.
ONLY 8 more days!!!

Yeah I don't know why they have not signed on with LIW, they have no idea what they are missing!
