I have no heat!!

Our landlords told us the boiler is broken, they are trying to find someone to fix it, but its a Saturday night, so I have a feeling its not happening. So far its not so bad, but we have no hot water! I have to shower at my parents house tomorrow. What a pain... I hope it doesn't get too cold in here - I really don't want to sleep at my parents with DH - it feels weird

I know how you feel, and that stinks. We didnt have power for one week a few months back...actually its almost a year now...and it was horrible....and sooo hot....It was the middle of the summer, and we couldnt use the a/c or anything.....

Just make sure you got plenty of blankets tonight.....

This happened to us last year in the dead of winter. One word....CUDDLE!

our last apartment was AWFUL!!! it was so cold...i really should have called NYC about it...the people downstairs controlled it and it was NEVER on...

so since our LL paid for gas for the stove/oven...we would boil water and have the oven on with the door opened!!!

These things always happen at the wrong time. One year and it was a freezing cold year our boiler broke on Christmas Day. Guess how many people we found that would come out and fix it on that day.

Get some candles and make friction with hubby I am a mess. Forgive me.

Im used to the cold. It is always cold in my apartment. The window frames are all rotted out. Jan 31st, all the windows upstairs and frames are getting replaced with new windows....and the down stairs windows in my house are being replaced also. Maybe then I will start feeling the heat....yay.

I don't know who's luckier, you or me? There something wrong with my heat too. The heat is turned off, and the digital thermostat says it's 78 degrees in here. The radiators are HOT! It's pretty hot in here! DH's uncle is going to fix the heat. We have 2 zone heating and we need a new zone valve box or something like that.
